Substitute Secretary
Under direct supervision of the Program Supervisor and on an as needed basis, types, files and directs communications through and on behalf of the assigned facility, organizes and maintains filing systems, greets and directs visitors within the assigned facility, and operates miscellaneous office equipment as requested. Computer and transportation dispatching skills are preferred.
Substitute Bus Driver
Under direct supervision of the Transportation Manager and on an as needed basis, safely transports and manages passengers on assigned routes and special activity driving, inspects the bus for mechanical and safety concerns, maintains the cleanliness of the bus, and participates in assigned meetings, in-services, workshops, and training sessions.
Substitute Department Specialist
Under direct supervision of an Adult Services Manager and on an as needed basis, supervises and assists consumers in the performance of work and habilitation oriented tasks, assists in the care of the general welfare of consumers, prepares and maintains written records and reports, and attends meetings and training sessions when required.
Substitute Teacher
Under direct supervision of the Starlight School Principal and on an as needed basis, plans and implements instructional programs and provides instruction to students with or at risk for developmental delays or those developing typically who have not attained compulsory school age and are eligible for such services, provides direction to assigned classroom assistants, aides and/or volunteers, provides consultation to parents/caregivers as requested, prepares and maintains required reports and records, and attends and/or conducts meetings, in services and conferences.
