Gabby Received her Vaccine

Gabby receives services through the Tuscarawas County Board of Developmental Disabilities, and she recently received her COVID-19 Vaccine. Gabby and her mom recall their experience with getting the vaccine administered at the Tuscarawas County Health Department:

"We called the Tuscarawas County Health Department because my TuscBDD SSA, Kayla McKnight, reached out to us. I was eligible because of my development delays and Cerebral Palsy. Basically, all I had was a sore arm for a few days.” ~Gabby

"You pull up, let them know you are there, and you stay in your vehicle. Gabby did well with the injection. We gave her a few Tylenol for the discomfort. It went very smooth and they monitored her for 15 minutes before she was allowed to leave." ~ Jodi (Gabby's mom)
