March Awareness Month

This month is important because it is a designated time when TuscBDD can create awareness and recognize the many contributions that people with disabilities bring to our community. It is also a time when people with disabilities can share their stories. TuscBDD asks everyone in the community to join with us in pledging to cultivate connections in order to expand social networks, generate opportunities, and grow supports for people with developmental disabilities by pledging to get involved this March. If you would like an opportunity to celebrate Developmental Disabilities Awareness month, you can pledge to attend a Fans Network or March awareness event, volunteer at a provider agency, share positive stories, encourage friendships, or start a conversation. Pledge tickets can be found on the www.tuscbdd.org website under the community/event page or by emailing ksilverthorn@tuscbdd.org. Please share your pledge on social media using hashtags #CultivateConnections and #BetterTogether.
