Writing Contest

Join us throughout the month of March in celebrating Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. The theme for 2021 is courage. All ages are welcome to make a submission: EI families, school age students and adults receiving services through TuscBDD.

TuscBDD is hosting a writing contest about courage. Whether you write a short story, an essay or a poem, we want to hear your stories of when you were courageous. If you want to, you can honor someone else by sharing their story of when they were courageous.

TuscBDD will have a panel of judges choose First, Second, and Third place winners! Winners will be announced on March 24th.

First Place: $100 in Chamber Bucks
Second Place: $75 in Chamber Bucks
Third Place: $50 in Chamber Bucks

All ages are welcome to make a submission: EI families, school age students and adults receiving services through TuscBDD. Please email your stories to Chris Sapp at csapp@tuscbdd.org no later than March 10, 2021. Remember to include your first and last name along with your mailing address so we can get your prize to you.

Good Luck and we look forward to your stories of courage!
