by Kerri Silverthorn, Community Relations/Special Projects Director   |   Wed, Oct 27th, 2021

The Tuscarawas County Board of Developmental Disabilities (TuscBDD) is requesting written proposals from qualified agency providers to operate, in collaboration with community partners and nearby county boards of developmental disabilities, a sustainable program of time-limited youth stabilization and residential/respite supports for multi-system youth and their families.

It is the objective of this project to develop a six-bed home in Tuscarawas County designated for youth who are eligible for county board services and are currently unable to be served in their family/guardian home.

It is the goal of this program to work with the youth residents to pursue reunification with their family/guardian or prepare the youth for community living as an adult.

The selected provider will work in collaboration with cross-county and multi-agency partners to develop a streamlined referral and planning process for this program. The partnering entities are committed to work closely with the selected provider to assist them to develop the necessary capabilities to serve this population.

If interested please, refer to the attached RFP and submit a response by November 15th. Please contact Drew Litty, TuscBDD Facility Director, with any questions at dlitty@tuscbdd.org or 330-339-8714.
