Adult Development Services (ADS)

ADS provides a variety of employment, vocational and skill building opportunities for persons with developmental disabilities in Tuscarawas County. Individuals who choose ADS as their provider will participate in weekly work assignments with local organizations such as The Salvation Army, Red Cross and the David Barber Civic Center which is run by the Newcomerstown Fire Department. Participating individuals will receive and hourly rate of pay while working at these locations and will earn a bi-weekly paycheck for participating in this program. After completing work rotations, individuals served are able to complete skills building and socialization activities with ADS staff.
