Kerri Silverthorn Recognized at the Women’s Success Series

TuscBDD’s Community Relations and Special Projects Director Kerri Silverthorn was recognized last week among a group of 40 female leaders at the Women’s Success Series as a member of the 2023 Leading Ladies of Tuscarawas County. Local female leaders were selected for the inaugural group by the Women's Success Series, The Lucille Nussdorfer Tuscarawas County Woman of the Year Committee, and The Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce. 

A message from the Superintendent:

“In my estimation, Kerri is deserving of this recognition due to her incredible creative abilities coupled with her strong work ethic. She has elevated so many projects at TuscBDD due to this ability. Kerri is kind and patient as a creative leader, and she readily collaborates with stakeholders and partners. Kerri values all team members’ opinions and works alongside them as she challenges them to embrace the unknown!

 Kerri also leads by example. She works hard and accomplishes her multitude of tasks well. You do not need to worry about Kerri pulling her weight on the project, and you know that she would not ask you to do something that she wouldn’t do first.

I am so happy to see Kerri get this award. It is truly well-deserved. Kerri worked hard to become a leader (e.g., worked multiple jobs, and paid her way through school while juggling high-need pregnancies and infants). She is an inspiration to many, and, I hope, especially to other women in our community.”
