TuscBDD Starlight School offers preschool services for children ages three to five years of age to learn together and from one another. Our Preschool program serves children from all Tuscarawas County school districts. There are up to eight children with developmental disabilities enrolled in the full-day program preschool classroom along with up to eight typically developing peers, with no more than a total of 16 students per room. In our new half-day program, we offer a smaller group that includes 6 children with developmental disabilities and 6 typically developing peers with no more than 12 per am/pm.

This well-rounded early childhood education curriculum follows the Ohio Learning Content Standards, which govern every licensed preschool in Ohio. Our 5 - Star rated preschool programs are licensed by the Ohio Department of Education’s Office of Early Learning and School Readiness. Additionally, TuscBDD Starlight School Preschool engages children in a positive and proactive way through the Positive Behavioral Intervention Support program (PBIS), which has been awarded a Gold standard.
