 TuscBDD Announces Newly Hired Human Resources Director: Amy Adam

New Philadelphia, May 2, 2023: The Tuscarawas County Board of Developmental Disabilities is pleased to announce the hiring of Amy Adam to fill the position of Human Resources Director. Ms. Adam took on the responsibilities and job duties for the HR Department on May 1st upon the retirement of TuscBDD’s Lynn Angelozzi.  “Lynn did an excellent job over the years, and we will miss her amazing abilities to balance compassion with structure,” expressed TuscBDD Superintendent, Nate Kamban. “Lynn spent an entire month working alongside Amy, which certainly helped the transition to be seamless.” Ms. Adam brings a wealth of talent, experience, and education to the TuscBDD team and is certified as a Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management.

In addition to Ms. Adam’s professional credentials, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Akron and graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Master of Business Administration - Human Resources Specialization. She has worked for non-profit and private companies and has worked with a variety of managers and employees at all levels of an organization. Her experience also includes working with benefit brokers, insurance providers, pension fund and defined contribution managers as well as the state of Ohio BWC. “We are thankful that our new team member is settling into our office culture effortlessly,” stated Kamban. “She is catching on quickly and makes a great addition to our leadership team.”

Ms. Adam lives in Tuscarawas County with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling, and she has never met a child or animal that she did not instantly fall in love with. “Human Resources is all about people, and I can honestly say that I am working with some of the best people ever here at TuscBDD.”
