 Meet Tyler

 Meet Tyler

Looking ahead to the future and focusing on becoming more independent, Tyler is currently a student at Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School. He was most recently voted Homecoming King! “I really want to thank my classmates for choosing me,” expressed Tyler. “It is an honor to represent my class at Tuscarawas Central Catholic.” Additionally, Tyler received an award from 4-H for earning the highest score in the county on his project, “Everyday Food & Fitness.”

Stephanie Keen, his SSA, shared, “Tyler’s success has everything to do with the support of his family at home and his drive to live independently.” After high school graduation Tyler plans to continue his HVAC education at Buckeye Career Center and pursue a career in the HVAC field. Tyler has recently attained his driver’s license and wishes to live more independently after he graduates high school.

Did you know? December 13th is National Horse Day. On this day, horses are celebrated and recognized for their many contributions to society throughout history. Horses help people with developmental disabilities, like Tyler, through equine therapy. You can learn more about this service by contacting SSA and checking out the following links:
